The sound of my voice

The other day I was stopped while driving in my postal vehicle by someone searching for an address. I wasn't at all surprised by this as I am stopped ALL the time by lost souls searching for their destinations. After all, I do work for the post office, so I must know where everything in the world is located. Truly though, it doesn't bother me at all helping someone out. The only thing that was different this day was that as I was giving this gentleman directions I thought to myself how much I liked the sound of my own voice. I found myself explaining more than I needed just so I could listen to myself talk. How weird is that. I know alot of people that do not like their own voice, well that's not me. So as I drove off I'm thinking to myself how much I do talk. I'm a talker and a listener apparently, of myself. hehe Any chance I get I'm usually talking. Toby Keith has a song called I Wanna Talk About Me and that is me to a TEE! I wanna talk about me AND listen to myself as I talk...that is me!!!!!

Birds birds birds!

While I was away on my trip, my husband and sons forgot to water the hanging plant that my stepmom gave to me. So when I got home I set out to save it. I bought some plant food and sprinkled it in the plant and as soon as I did that a bird flew out of the center. I was a bit freaked out so I climbed up to see what I had done and low and behold there was a nest and 4 eggs and one mother bird freaking out. I was really worried that I had just ruined all those lives so I rinsed off the plant food, all the while the mother bird was chirping furiously at me. After rinsing it all off it took about an hour for the momma bird to get back into her nest. A few days later her little birdies hatched and it seems they are all doing alright. She's very protective and she was ready to attack me as I attempted to take a few pictures.

My new eyes!

My new glasses from Zenni Optical arrived today! I'm so excited! I got two new pairs of glasses for $80.00! What a deal!

Fabulous valium again to the rescue.

So once again I made my way to the dentist after undergoing two root canals in the past week. Never in a million years would I have dreamed of going to the dentist as much as I have but with my friend Valium, I seem to have superhuman strength when it comes to going to the dentist now. I can handle ANYTHING! So in a short 2 weeks time, I have undergone 2 root canals and the build-ups for both of those teeth. So now I am fixed! I am FINALLY out of pain after dealing with it for close to 8 long months. All I have to say is thank you to my stepmom, Alice for suggesting it, thanks to my dad for being my chauffeur and thank you to Dr. Guzha for being an awesome dentist!

Valium is my friend!

Well I have to say I wish I had discovered the wonders of Valium many, many years ago. It would have spared me some serious misery at the dentist. They prescribed me Valium to take just before my appointment and let me tell you, IT WORKED! My stress level was nonexistent and I was able to make it through the procedure without white knuckling it. Thank you Alice for suggesting it! I was able to get my root canal done and I actually scheduled my second one that I need for next week so I can get it taken care of too! How's that for a miracle! Any other time I would be waiting until the tooth hurt so bad it would force me to go! Now I can actually get preventative work done from now on! YAY!

Root Canals

Today I am getting a root canal done. YUCK! I HATE going to the dentist more than you could possibly imagine. I have such anxiety and fear about the whole thing. It's been so bad that I have actually broken down into tears in the chair! I've been given this wonderful thing for todays appointment though, VALIUM! I'm really hoping it will take the edge off the whole process because I SO need to go through with this root canal. My tooth has been hurting me so very much the last few weeks it's been unbearable. This will be my third try going to the dentist for this same tooth. I am kind of looking forward to being out of pain though so lets all cross our fingers that I can make it through this appointment in one piece!
